Bike Forward is a community-powered initiative that collects donated bicycles and places them directly into the hands of individuals who lack reliable transportation. By providing bikes for work commutes, medical appointments, school, and daily necessities, this project helps restore independence, stability, and opportunity.

A bicycle is more than transportation—it’s freedom, access, and momentum.

💔 The Need

Many underserved and unhoused individuals:

• Have jobs but no reliable way to get to work
• Miss medical appointments due to transportation barriers
• Lose employment opportunities because public transit is limited or costly
• Remain stuck in crisis due to lack of mobility

Without transportation, even the best opportunities remain out of reach.

Bike forward removes one of the biggest barriers to stability Each donated bike is:

• Inspected for safety

• Distributed under a free raffle with dignity and respect

When available, recipients may also receive:

• Helmets and bike locks
• Reflective gear and lights
• Basic bike safety education
